I know, I should post more often if I want to enjoy my almost new blogging experience.
I had a hectic week, I'd say "as usual" .
When I started this blog, I decided I'd organize my time to be able to blog, shop, read and exercise. I haven't done any...except for reading. I started "the secret language of children", fascinating !
For the rest of my "free" time (I mean without my lovely children, 6 hours a day !), I drove all around the countryside for days, looking for the Magical Land to build our nice house. I visited a few small villages, talked with dozens real estate agents, went on websites to check about contamination and other nice stuff you don;t want to live around, etc. It was exhausting, especially the driving part. But that was good because 6 months into our project, we might have found the Magical Land. We'll have a new look at it tomorrow. It has a huge fantastic view over wheat fields but it's still in the village. We are not that far from malls or the city. However, the view is great but I am scared it could be the opposite. I love nature, I love countryside...but on week-ends. As you know, I'll work from home. Will I get enough inspiration and excitation with this flat view ?? Is that so important ?
I know I am a city girl but I also like being in my backyard with nature noises, birds chirping and wind in the trees...I love shopping, going to the library, looking for trends, finding new stores...will I survive ?

KID FRIENDLY French toast:
6 slices of bread.
3 eggs
1 tablespoon of vanilla
a good shaking of cinammon
Scramble the last three together. Melt butter on pan. Dip the bread on both sides. Place bread on melted butter low heat.
MY KIDS LOVE IT. Have fun!
The Land of Nod -- or your Magical World -- Now let me think R U Talking about the French Countryside...r u talking to me, r u talking to me? TOO LUCKY!! Let me say this...if God has blessed you with such a fortune, GO FOR IT!! Inspiration can be found in the simplest of things and most importantly in the peace of things! I'm envious! I would trade places anyday...I'm in Sunny Southern California...but to live in a place like the French Countryside....does this mean I'm invited to vist and bring the kids along too (just kidding). Flat is only a perspective!
Thank you OHMommy for your comments. I'll try your recipe as soon as I can go grocery shopping. I don't have cinnamon since I moved back here !
Cafe Mommy, I'd really prefer being in CA !!! Grass is greener there...and the weather !
I was a city girl and we found our magic land 8 years ago and I love it. I love the trees, birds, and quiet. I guess I realized even though I was raised in the city I was a "country" girl at heart hehe. I just love your blog, I am new to blogging and just started a blog called "I Overcooked My Family". I would love to hear from you.
