Today, I have to post but I'll make it short. My driving around the Countryside and our new kitten are both exhausting ! It's 2 pm and right after posting, I'll have a nap before picking-up at 4 if I want to be able to handle baths and dinner time.
We have a new kitten , 6 months old and she is very funny, cute, smart and affectionate but she has this thing about waking up at 4 am...she starts purring and "hugging us" and she needs to show her affection for 10 minutes. Now that Mister Son stopped coming at 5 am, she's the one that reduces my sleep time. As I am cutting down caffeine, you can imagine how hard it is for me. Lucky that I don't work in an office !!
About the Countryside, I went 30 minutes away from our place this morning and it was like going to a different planet. I am not used to that long driving (mostly highways) and maybe you know how French people drive, that's the most tiring part of the driving !! What I saw was ok but still, I am not convinced we are looking in the perfect area. Since I saw Civil Action, I am very concerned by environment so I need the place to be "all clean" as says my daughter about the way she wants her pastas ! I also want a nice neighborhood, good schools, nice shops. My husband just want his house !!
I know that recession is coming our way so we need to be cautious about how much we will put into that house so that makes my search even more tricky !

Good luck with the house and with the new kitten. I'm a cat lover so I totally get it. Thanks, btw. For stopping by my blog and sharing. I'll definitely be back.
Peace!
Ahhh a cute kitty! I love kitties. My sons however are allergic. Wow I had no idea house hunting was so tiresome. I think no matter how clean, or GREEN, you want it -- you have to come to terms that they best thing is for you to make your home a GREEN Home and Environment too. And from previous home purchasing buy a house that needs little renovation, if any. Sometimes -- when we start to remodel we find and dig into deeper pockets that our budget can't afford. Be well! And smile:)
